Mexico suffers, Mexico bleeds
tears roll down a parent’s cheeks
for her loved son has gone missing
and now the entire world is listening.

Alive you were and alive we want you
for this world is not the same without you.
For forty three all hearts now cry
but is only the tip of what has gone astray.

Many, many more are now gone
and only those who are brave press on
to show the king and his goons
that they are only pathetic cartoons

you will be found, hope will never die
as we all together keep a keen eye
and the fresh air of liberty
boldly calls for unrelenting victory.
